Nếu đã chọn Two-pass thì bạn có thể giảm bitrate xuống cở 2/3 (ví dụ: One-pass đặt bitrate là 2000 thì Two-pass chỉ cần chọn 1400) để giảm dung lượng phim nhưng chất lượng tương đương. Framerate như tôi đã có nói,nếu bạn thay đổi chắc chắn sẽ làm lệch phụ đề khi xem phim.
Còn về thời gian thì phải chấp nhận bạn à. Bạn chuyển phim với thông số càng cao thì đương nhiên thời gian chuyển đổi sẽ càng lâu. Encode một phim HD thì cả ngày là chuyện bình thường.

Dưới đây tôi ví dụ hai đoạn clip được chuyển đổi từ cùng 1 file nguồn (Bài Smooth Criminal, file gốc MKV (365MB) do nhóm z-man rip từ BR This is it của Michael Jackson).
Một tôi chuyển bằng Freemake (Two-pass) và một tôi chuyển bằng MiniCoder (mặc định encode two-pass).

Cả 2 đều có cùng thông số: Video 960x540, birate 150, framerate 23.976 - Audio AAC, bitrate 128. sampling rate 48Khz. Nhưng chất lượng thì phim chuyển bằng MiniCoder hơn thấy rõ. Và dĩ nhiên thời gian chuyển đổi sẽ lâu hơn do x264 settings cao hơn.

* Về MiniCoder nếu bạn muốn thử tôi sẽ chỉ cách dùng. Theo tôi biết thì đây là GUI x264 đơn giản nhất nhưng cho chất lượng phim encode khá tốt.
